Overview:
The Padlockable Overcentre Catch (MPN 763 234) is a robust latch designed for securing doors, tailgates, lids and panels on trailers, plant bodies and service vehicles. It uses an over-centre toggle action to clamp and hold parts closed, and can be padlocked for added security on site or in transit. The unit has a zinc plated finish for corrosion resistance in outdoor use. Key drawing dimensions are A = 210 mm (8.27 in) overall length, B = 37 mm (1.46 in) width, and D = 100 mm (3.94 in). Two 5 mm (0.20 in) holes provide for locking. The catch is rated to a 490 kg capacity. It is suitable for pairing with the corresponding Maypole catch/striker plate MP81402B (striker not included). Padlocks are not included.
