Overview:
The Mains Inlet Socket (MPN 763 538) is a flush-mount 240V 16A connection point for bringing site power into caravans, camper vans and motorhomes. It installs into a panel cut-out and presents a protected socket to accept the standard blue 16A site lead. The housing is moulded from durable, UV-stable plastic and is supplied in white to suit typical caravan and motorhome bodywork. A hinged lid with locking peg protects the inlet from weather and accidental disconnection, and a release lever assists in unplugging the mating lead. The rounded base is designed to speed up installation with a hole cutter. Rated IP44 for splash protection and CE approved, this European-made inlet is supplied with a black foam seal for the mounting face to help achieve a neat, weather-resistant fit. Commonly used as a like-for-like replacement on many touring vehicles.
