Overview:
The 50mm overrun coupling head kit (MPN 764 120) is a heavy-duty cast steel assembly for braked trailers up to 3000 kg (3.0 tonnes). It provides a robust connection to a 50 mm (1.97 in) towball and is intended for round tube drawbars. The body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and features a cast ring handle for positive operation. The kit includes adaptor sleeves to suit 35 mm (1.38 in), 40 mm (1.57 in) and 45 mm (1.77 in) round drawbars, making it suitable for replacing a wide range of existing coupling heads. Mounting holes are provided on both the side and top faces for installation flexibility. Supplied with 2 x M12 x 80 mm fixings, lock nuts and washers; use grade 10.9 bolts as required. R55 approved (D27, S150). Supplied without a lock; accepts the MP201L lock if required.
