Overview:
This 50mm trailer coupling head, 3000 kg, for 50 mm round drawbars (MPN 763 993) is a heavy‐duty pressed steel hitch head for use on plant, equipment and general‐purpose trailers. It attaches to a 50 mm towball (approx. 2") and mounts to a 50 mm (approx. 2") round tube drawbar using two high‐strength M12 bolts. The body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and includes an indicator to show correct coupling engagement and wear status. Mounting holes are provided on both the side and top faces to suit different drawbar drilling patterns. The unit is ECE R55 approved (D27, S150) and rated for applications up to 3000 kg (approx. 3.0 tonnes / 6,614 lb), making it suitable for heavier trailers within that capacity. Supplied without a lock; compatible accessories include the optional Maypole security lock and a soft dock to protect the coupling head and towball area.
