Overview:
This galvanised 7x7 wire rope is a strong, weather‐resistant steel cable for fastening, rigging and boating jobs. Made from zinc‐coated (galvanised) steel strands, it balances flexibility and strength for reliable performance outdoors and in marine environments. The 7x7 construction uses seven bundles of seven wires for smooth running over sheaves and fairleads while staying robust under load. With a 5 mm (0.20 in) diameter and a 30 m (98.43 ft) roll length, it suits tasks from securing loads and guying structures to light marine rigging. Breaking strength is 14.70 kN (approx. 1.50 t).
