Overview:
This 4 Way Indent Crimping Tool is designed for Deutsch DT connectors and other closed barrel contacts used in low-voltage wiring. It creates a uniform four-indent crimp around the contact for a secure 360° connection on 14-18 AWG conductors (1-2 mm2). The compact 165 mm length makes it easy to use in tight spaces on vehicles and machinery. A ratchet mechanism controls the crimp cycle and only releases when the set crimp force is achieved, helping ensure repeatable results. Built with a durable steel body and comfortable grip handles, it is suitable for workshop and site use. It can also be used with suitable D‐Sub machined contacts found in RS‐232 interface connectors where closed barrel terminals are specified.
