The Heavy Duty Jockey Wheel Clamp 42mm Cast Steel, 100mm Centres, M12 (MPN 763 510) is a split clamp for securing 42 mm (approx. 1.65 in) jockey wheels and prop stands on trailers and plant transport equipment. The body is manufactured from cast steel for strength and durability, with a zinc plated finish to resist corrosion in daily site and road use. It features 100 mm (approx. 3.94 in) mounting hole centres to suit common trailer brackets and drawbar plates, and an M12 bolt size on the clamp assembly for reliable clamping force. This unit is used to hold the jockey wheel or prop stand firmly in the raised or lowered position during coupling, parking and manoeuvring. It is suitable as a replacement for Knott cast clamps and is commonly used on Ifor Williams trailers and other general duty and plant trailers. A replacement handle/pad assembly is available separately (part X97438-1) to support service maintenance over the life of the clamp.
