Overview:
The 48mm Pivoting Jockey Wheel Clamp (MPN 763 968) is a clamp assembly designed to secure and swivel a standard 48 mm jockey wheel or propstand tube on trailers and similar towable equipment. It holds the tube firmly for raising, lowering and manoeuvring, and allows the assembly to pivot between operating and stowed positions to keep the wheel clear of the ground during transport. Built for regular workshop and fleet use, it suits maintenance replacements as well as new trailer builds. The 48 mm size is the common UK and European standard for light to medium-duty trailers, plant transporters and caravan A‐frames. The clamp installs to a drawbar or A‐frame using suitable fixings specified by the trailer builder. Jockey wheel, propstand and mounting hardware are selected separately to suit the installation and duty.
