The Throttle Needle (1 3/4 inch length, 44.45 mm / 4.45 cm) is a genuine Amal component for fine fuel metering in Amal Type 159 and Type 259 carburettors, and is also compatible with Type 359. Precision-machined from durable metal, it rides in the throttle slide and works with the needle jet to control mixture through the mid‐range, helping engines start cleanly and run smoothly under load. This needle features five adjustment grooves to set clip position for tuning.
