Overview:
High Tensile Zinc Plated U-Bolt 50 x 76mm with Nuts & Washers (MPN 763 231) for general clamping and bracket fixing on trailers, plant transport and light commercial bodywork. Manufactured from high tensile steel for strength and durability, with a zinc plated finish to help resist corrosion in everyday service. Supplied complete with locking nuts and washers so it is ready to fit. The nominal width is 50 mm (1.97 in) with a leg length of 76 mm (2.99 in), and each threaded section is 30 mm long (1.18 in) to give adequate adjustment and clamp-up on common trailer plates and sections. Used to secure plates, angle, tube and accessories to chassis rails, drawbars and crossmembers where these dimensions match. A 60 Nm tightening torque is suggested as a guide only and should be confirmed against the actual installation and materials being clamped.
