This grab handle tube (MPN 800 1409) is a 566 mm long mild steel rail used to create a secure handhold on commercial vehicles and equipment. Made from mild steel with a 1.5 mm wall and a 30 mm tube width, it is finished in a black polycoated layer for a durable, tidy appearance suited to fleet use. The 566 mm length (approximately 22.3 in) offers a compact section for doorways, step areas and body side access where space is limited. It is designed to be installed with Albert Jagger supports, using end supports 9800/4138 and, where required, centre supports 9800/4151 to achieve a stable, continuous rail. Commonly fitted on trucks, trailers, buses, generator sets, horseboxes and vehicle cabs to aid safe access and egress. Supplied as the tube only; supports and fixings are selected to suit the installation.
