Overview:
This recovery tow strap (MPN 763 572) is a heavy-duty webbing strap for linking a disabled vehicle to a towing vehicle for short-distance recovery. It measures 3.5 m (11 ft 6 in) long and 75 mm (3 in) wide, providing a compact yet robust connection with good load spread across the towing points. The strap is fitted with two forged steel hooks, each with an integral safety catch to secure quickly to standard towing eyes or brackets. Rated to a maximum rolling load of 6,500 kg (6.5 tonnes / approx. 14,330 lb), it is suitable for passenger cars, vans, 4x4s and light agricultural tractors. Supplied in a zip storage bag with an ON TOW sign, red safety flag and full instructions. The assembly is manufactured in accordance with BS AU 187:2000 for vehicle tow ropes and straps, and uses bright, high-visibility colours to help other road users see the connection during recovery.
