Overview:
This drop catch plate with rounded end (MPN 763 109) is a self colour, weld-on keeper plate used with drop catches to secure doors, tailgates and dropsides on trailers and commercial bodies. Supplied in raw self colour ready for welding and finishing on the body frame or post, it provides a robust landing point for the catch pin. The plate measures 92 x 50 mm with a 22 mm clearance hole and approximately 6 mm plate thickness, equivalent to 3.62 x 1.97 in with a 0.87 in hole and 0.24 in thickness. The rounded end helps guide the pin into position. Commonly used across general purpose trailers, plant transporters and utility bodies where a simple, durable latch solution is needed. Compatible with Maypole MP838 drop catch. Suitable for fabrication and repair work where a straightforward keeper is required.
