Overview:
This T-Bar Door Retainer (MPN 800 1045) is a robust hold-open device for external doors on commercial bodies and site units. It combines a pressed mild steel body with a malleable iron T-bar measuring 105 mm (4.13") and is finished in zinc plating for a clean, uniform surface. The retainer secures doors in the open position to aid loading, unloading and access, helping to prevent movement in wind or on uneven ground. The backplate is 78 mm (3.07") long by 45 mm (1.77") wide with 5.5 mm (0.22") clearance fixing holes to suit common body hardware fasteners. Intended for use on trucks, trailers, containers and modular buildings, it pairs with a separate catch plate on the body side; it is designed to work with catch plates 0553/001 and 0554/001. Supplied as the T-bar arm and retainer assembly.
