Overview:
The Dormer A002 HSS‐TiN Coated Jobber Drill, model A0027/16, is a robust 7/16 inch (11.11 mm) drill bit designed for accurate, clean drilling in metals and other common materials. It is manufactured from high‐speed steel (HSS) with a hard‐wearing titanium nitride (TiN) tip coating to extend cutting life and resist wear. A self‐centring split point helps start holes without wandering, improving positional accuracy and reducing the need for centre punching. Conforming to DIN 338 RN, BS 328 and ISO 235, it is a standard jobber‐length drill with a working length of 94 mm and an overall length of 142 mm. Suitable for both hand and machine use, it performs well in cordless or corded drills, pillar drills and other workshop machines within the Dormer A002 series.
