This is an AL-KO pattern 200 x 50 mm brake drum for use with AL-KO 2051 brake shoes (MPN 764 159). It is designed for axles that use the AL-KO Euro-Compact type bearing with a 39 mm inner diameter, 72 mm outer diameter and 37 mm width. The drum forms the braking surface for the 200 mm x 50 mm shoe set (approximately 7.87 in x 1.97 in) and is intended for trailers, caravans and plant transport running AL-KO 2051 braking. The compact bearing size of 39 mm ID x 72 mm OD x 37 mm W (about 1.54 in x 2.83 in x 1.46 in) identifies the correct spindle/bearing family this drum is built around. Manufactured as a robust cast drum with a machined braking track, it is suitable for fleet maintenance and axle overhauls where the braking surface or drum geometry has worn beyond service limits. The unit is non-handed and installs in the same position as the original AL-KO 2051 drum on compatible axles.
