Overview:
The Sealey STC40 is a compact mains-powered battery charger for 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries used in home and light workshop settings. Built around an intelligent control circuit with protective features, it delivers up to 4A peak charging current to support reliable charging of small batteries from 5Ah to 40Ah. A durable composite housing with an integrated carry handle provides portability and resistance to everyday knocks. Clear LED indicators show charging progress at low, medium, and full levels, helping users monitor status at a glance. The unit connects to standard UK supply via a 230V BS1363/A 3‑pin plug (3A fuse) and includes insulated clamps for safe, straightforward attachment to battery terminals. Manual operation is required; disconnect once fully charged. Designed for lead-acid batteries only.
