Overview:
This medium-duty battery isolator switch with removable key is designed to safely disconnect the battery on plant, construction and road-going vehicles. Built with a robust black polymer body, metal terminals and a high-visibility red key, it resists vibration and everyday site conditions. It suits 12 V and 24 V systems and is a practical way to prevent parasitic drain, reduce fire risk and make electrical maintenance safer by isolating power at the source. Rated up to 1000 A at 12 V and 500 A at 24 V for 10 seconds, it supports engine starting loads. The switch is well suited to dumpers such as Thwaites MACH 374 and MACH 378, and is also commonly used on other small plant, cars and light commercial vehicles.
