Overview:
The Door Check Strap Fixing Plate (MPN 800 1092) is a pressed mild steel end plate with a black japanned finish, designed to secure balata belting door check straps. It provides a neat, durable termination for the strap and a solid interface to the door or body panel. Sized at 48 mm (1 7/8 in) long by 28 mm (1 1/8 in) wide, with a plate thickness of 1.5 mm (1/16 in), it is compact enough for tight door frames while offering ample bearing area. The plate takes Ø5 mm (3/16 in) countersunk fixings for a flush fit when installed. Typical uses include side and rear doors on trucks and trailers, van doors, generator set enclosures and cab doors where a balata belting check strap is required to limit door travel and prevent panel damage. Supplied in a black finish to match standard balata strap hardware.
