Overview:
Heavy Duty Double Sided Towstep (MPN 763 909) designed for towbar mounting on vans, pickups and 4x4 vehicles. This robust steel step spans 80 cm (31.5 in) across the rear of the vehicle, providing safe, stable access to the load area from either side of the towing connection. The profiled tread pattern offers improved grip in wet and muddy conditions, while the black ED (electrophoretic deposition) coating provides high corrosion resistance for long service life in fleet and site use. It is engineered to leave the required towball mounting space in line with Reg 55, and accepts standard UK towballs, towing jaws and ball-and-pin couplings. Typical installation uses a socket mounting plate (e.g. MP3465B) on the towbar for secure fitment and serviceability.
