This Raised Compression Latch (MPN 800 1223) is a black, non-locking latch for secure closure of access panels, lockers and enclosures on commercial vehicles and equipment. The body is manufactured from zinc alloy die-casting for strength and durability, and it is supplied with a zinc-plated pressed steel clamp plate to engage behind the frame. The raised style provides a positive grip for operation, while the compression action draws the door or lid firmly against the frame to help minimise rattle and vibration.
