Overview:
This End Slam Bolt (MPN 800 1177) is a compact latch designed for edge mounting on doors, hatches and lids across commercial vehicle and equipment builds. The body is moulded in black polyamide for a tough, low-maintenance finish, and it uses a 304 stainless steel spring for reliable snap-in engagement. The unit measures 80 mm (3.15 in) in length by 29 mm (1.14 in) in width with a body thickness of 19.5 mm (0.77 in). A flat, slotted tail allows straightforward linkage or actuation arrangements, while the 16 mm (0.63 in) tongue provides a positive latch point. Fixing is via 6 mm (0.24 in) diameter holes.
