Overview:
This is a Bradley HU12 overrun coupling assembly (MPN 764 176) with a cast delta mounting and a Bradley 50mm coupling head, built for braked trailers up to 3500kg gross weight. Designed for plant, construction and commercial transport use, the HU12 overrun device uses the trailer's forward motion under braking to apply the trailer brakes via an internal damper and drawtube. The cast head latches to a standard 50mm towball (approximately 1.97 inches) and the 3500kg rating equates to roughly 3.5 tonnes (about 7716lb) GTW. The assembly provides a mechanical connection point for the brake linkage and incorporates the delta (triangular) base pattern commonly used on A‐frame and delta drawbars. Built from heavy-duty steel with a robust cast coupling head, it is intended for demanding fleet and site environments.
