Overview:
This is a Bradley-pattern overrun coupling assembly for V-drawbar (A-frame) trailers (MPN 764 175). It is a heavy-duty unit designed to transmit and control overrun braking on braked trailers up to 3,500 kg gross weight (3.5 tonne, approximately 7,716 lb). The assembly is supplied with an AK351-pattern 50 mm coupling head and is provided with a lock for security when parked or uncoupled. The overrun device operates mechanically via a drawtube and damper to apply the trailer brakes progressively under deceleration, helping to maintain stable, predictable braking performance. Built for fleet and trade use, the housing and head are robust steel components suited to plant, car transporter and general-duty trailers. This unit is intended for Bradley-pattern brake linkage geometry and is not for AL-KO brake back-end layouts, making it a direct replacement option where a non-AL-KO brake connection is required. It mounts to a V-drawbar chassis and provides the coupling point to a standard 50 mm towball on the towing vehicle.
