The 5L Caterpillar Yellow Synthetic Resin Paint (from 1999) is a solvent-borne, synthetic resin topcoat designed to match the iconic plant colour used on Caterpillar machinery from 1999 onwards. It delivers a robust, long-lasting finish with strong coverage on industrial and construction equipment. Suitable for steel and previously painted surfaces, it is ideal for excavators, loaders, compressors, generators, site plant, attachments, and repair parts where a consistent yellow finish is needed. The paint can be applied by brush, roller, or spray on properly prepared substrates. With a theoretical coverage of 7.5 m2 per litre (up to 37.5 m2 per 5L), it balances durability with efficiency. Drying and curing times support practical maintenance schedules, making it suitable for workshop and on-site use.
