This is a genuine JAP cylinder (MPN 16113/3) for the JAP 2A stationary petrol engine, also suitable for JAP 2 variants. The cylinder forms the engine's main combustion chamber, housing the piston and rings to create compression and transfer power. Manufactured to OEM standards for fit and geometry, it is produced in robust cast iron with cooling fins to manage heat during continuous running. Ideal for restoring or maintaining vintage stationary engines used on pumps, generators and small plant, this unused old stock component may show minor age-related marks but remains fully serviceable.
