Overview:
This T‐bar door retainer (MPN 800 1412) is a pressed 304 stainless steel, spring‐loaded hold‐open device for swing doors on commercial bodies and site units. The stainless construction provides robust corrosion resistance for fleet use in transport, plant and construction environments. Supplied in self colour (plain stainless), it is intended to be mounted to the door and body so the T‐bar engages with a matching catch and back plate to hold the door securely in the open position during loading, unloading or service tasks. The bar retainer measures 123 mm (4.84 in) in length with a 40 mm (1.57 in) base width, and features 5 mm (0.20 in) fixing holes to suit common hardware. It is commonly paired with the corresponding AJ catch plate 9810/3370 and back plate 9810/3390 to form a complete door hold‐back assembly for trucks, trailers, containers and modular buildings.
