Description

Overview:
This genuine Stihl drive shaft (OEM No. 4130 711 3200) is the flexible inner cable that transmits power from the engine clutch to the gearhead in your brushcutter. Made from tough, spiral-wound steel for strength and resilience, it restores smooth, reliable drive when the original cable is worn or broken. Designed for Stihl trimmers and brushcutters, including the FS 40 and FS 40 C, it helps maintain cutting performance and reduces vibration caused by a failing shaft. The shaft length is 123 cm (48.4 inches), with a 6.3 mm outside diameter and a 5 mm square drive end to suit the matching drive components. Ideal for routine maintenance or a like-for-like replacement to keep your machine working as intended.

Key Features:
- Genuine Stihl part for correct fit and dependable operation
- Length 123 cm (48.4 inches) for OE-equivalent reach inside the drive tube
- 6.3 mm diameter flexible steel cable for efficient torque transmission
- 5 mm square drive ends to match compatible clutch and gearhead fittings
- Durable construction resists kinking, fraying, and premature wear
- Helps restore cutting power and reduces chatter and vibration
- Direct replacement for worn or damaged inner drive shafts
- Supports smooth engagement and consistent line or blade speed
- Suited to regular maintenance schedules to prevent downtime
- Supplied to OEM specification for long service life

Typical Applications:
Replacing a worn inner drive cable in Stihl trimmers and brushcutters used for grass trimming, edging, and clearing light brush. Customer Questions
Will this drive shaft solve the problem? My present shaft not spinning or do I need something else? The engine is fine and runs well.
A spinning drive shaft may mean several things. It may not be joining at the motor or the head or the shaft has snapped completely. It may be worth taking it to a local dealer and they will be able to look at the shaft to see if they are able to diagnose...
