Overview:
The CarPlan Exhaust Repair Bandage is a heat-activated epoxy resin wrap designed to seal large holes and splits in exhaust systems without removing the pipework. Once applied and heated by normal engine running, it cures to form a rigid, gas‐tight seal that helps restore safe operation and reduce noise. Supplied with fixing wire and a flame shield, it is suitable for a wide range of construction and garden machinery, including generators, plate compactors, ride‐on mowers, and lawn tractors. The bandage adheres to typical steel exhaust components found on plant and outdoor power equipment, making it useful for workshop and on‐site repairs. For best results on bigger gaps, it can be used with CarPlan MEP251 exhaust repair paste before wrapping.
