Overview:
This recessed female door retainer with external release (MPN 800 1043) is designed for holding doors securely in the open position on vehicle bodies and site equipment. It uses a durable black nylon body for the recessed housing, combined with a 304 stainless steel faceplate and stainless internal components for strength and corrosion resistance. The unit sits flush when installed to minimise snagging, with an external release action to disengage the door when required. Measuring Ø62 mm (2.44 in) across the face and 17.5 mm (0.69 in) deep, it suits compact spaces on commercial vehicle cabs, truck bodies, equipment cabinets and modular buildings. Fixing is via countersunk holes sized Ø6.3 mm (0.25 in) to suit standard screw or bolt hardware.
