Overview:
Weld-On Cropped Mild Steel Eye Plate, Ø22mm, 152 x 51 x 5mm (MPN 3106 001) is a compact, weld-on eye plate for commercial vehicle and trailer bodywork. Manufactured from mild steel and supplied in self colour (uncoated), it is intended to be welded directly to the body structure and then finished as required by painting or galvanising. The cropped profile allows close mounting near edges or posts. The plate measures 152mm long (6"), 51mm wide (2") and 5mm thick (3/16"), with a 22mm (7/8") eye suitable for use with common dropside chains, small hooks or rope. Typically fitted to dropside and tailboard assemblies, it provides a durable anchor point for retaining chains or for tying sheets and covers on truck bodies, plant transporters and general trailers. Suitable for new builds, refurbishments and body repairs where a straightforward weld-on eye is required.
