The Starrett FCH0500 Fast Cut Bi‐Metal Holesaw is a heavy‐duty cup cutter for fast, accurate holes in metal. Built from bi‐metal steel for strength and fatigue resistance, it delivers clean results in stainless steel and mild steel sheet, as well as metal tube with thin walls. The 127 mm (5 inch) diameter suits larger penetrations and service entries, while the 41 mm (1.6 inch) cutting depth covers most common panel and cladding tasks. A 5.5 TPI per 25 mm tooth form helps the saw bite quickly and run smoothly. Use it with a suitable arbor/mandrel and pilot drill in corded or cordless handheld drills, or a drill press, to achieve stable, controlled cuts. Manufacturer part number: AX5250.
