This genuine Villiers float needle (OEM No. V872) is a small metal component used in most old type Villiers carburettors to control fuel flow into the float bowl. As the float rises and falls, the needle opens and closes the fuel inlet, maintaining the correct fuel level for steady running and clean throttle response. Made from durable metal for long service life, it is suitable for restoring and maintaining vintage machinery powered by Villiers engines, such as older lawn mowers, rotavators, stationary engines and similar equipment. This is unused old stock and may show light tarnishing or storage marks, which do not affect function.
