Overview:
The Flood Protection Absorbent Booms 3m x 12cm are reusable, quick‐deploy barriers for diverting and soaking up nuisance floodwater. Each boom measures 3.0 metres by 12 centimetres (approximately 9 feet 10 inches by 4.7 inches). A tough outer casing surrounds an absorbent polymer core that swells as it takes on water, adding stability so the boom stays in place. Flexible construction lets you curve the boom around corners, machinery and thresholds, or overlap ends to create longer runs. Use around homes, shops, workshops, plant rooms and site cabins to manage low‐level flooding, seepage under doors and minor overland flow. They work well alongside sandbags and drain covers, and can be positioned around equipment such as generators and pumps to reduce water ingress during heavy rain or burst pipes.
