The Faithfull Hammer Wedges Assorted Card (12) is a 12-piece kit for securing striking heads to wooden handles on hammers, axes, hatchets, and similar tools. Supplied under MPN FAIHWMMBOXN, it combines malleable steel wedges with wooden wedges to lock the tool head firmly to the shaft, restoring safe use and prolonging handle life. The steel wedges bite and expand the wood across the eye, while the wooden wedges spread the grain lengthways to fill the eye. Four steel wedge widths are included (12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm, and 21 mm; 0.47 in, 0.59 in, 0.71 in, and 0.83 in). Matching wooden wedge sizes are 17 x 25 mm, 25 x 35 mm, 30 x 30 mm, and 30 x 40 mm (0.67 x 0.98 in, 0.98 x 1.38 in, 1.18 x 1.18 in, and 1.18 x 1.57 in). Suitable for head weights from 113 g to 12.7 kg (4 oz to 28 lb). Not for fibreglass handles.
