Hand second cut files are ideal for filing flat surfaces, sharp corners, and shoulders, as well as deburring. These files are double cut on both sides with one safe edge, allowing precise work in corners. Suitable for high-alloy tool steels and sharpening heavy implements, they offer a high removal rate. The files have parallel sides with a slight taper in thickness.
