Overview:
Heldite Jointing Compound 250ml is a versatile sealing compound for creating reliable joints on machinery and equipment. It adheres to a wide range of materials, including steel, aluminium, brass, rubbers, and dissimilar metals, forming a waterproof and anti-corrosive barrier. Suitable for use with oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, non-potable water, gases, and coolants, it helps maintain system integrity in workshops, garages, and on-site repairs. With inert properties that reduce electrolytic action, it performs well in harsh environments, including those exposed to sea water. Operational performance remains unaffected between -40°C and +350°C, and it resists 18% hydrochloric and 5% sulphuric acids. Supplied in a 250 ml tin, it is ideal for sealing gaskets, flanges, and threaded fittings on construction plant, generators, pumps, compressors, and garden machinery. Meets Commercial Specification 68-145/I.

Typical Applications:
Sealing pump housings, radiator and coolant joints, gearbox covers, sump pans, valve and manifold flanges, and threaded fittings on hydraulic, fuel, air, and coolant systems. Common on compact plant, pressure washers, plate compactors, generators, ride-on mowers, chainsaws, and small engines. Suitable for workshop maintenance, on-site repairs, and preventative servicing where resistance to oils, fuels, heat, and corrosion is essential. Not for potable water systems.
