Overview:
The Hessian Sand Bag and Tie is a durable, reusable sack for site and environmental control tasks. Made from woven natural hessian (jute) in a breathable, coarse fabric, it handles demanding use outdoors and indoors. Sized 330 mm x 760 mm (13 in x 30 in), it is easy to fill, carry, and stack to build temporary barriers. Typical uses include flood defence, erosion control, and weighting or stabilising equipment, fencing, signs, sheets, and tarpaulins on construction and landscaping jobs. It is supplied with a tie for secure closure. The natural fibre construction is robust yet biodegradable, offering a practical alternative to plastic sacks for many tasks. Not suitable for food storage due to oils used in manufacture.
