Overview:
The Metabo Drill Bit Set (19 Piece HSS-TiN) is a metric set for accurate drilling in metal and tough plastics. Each bit is made from high‐speed steel (HSS) and coated with titanium nitride (TiN) for improved wear resistance and heat control. The precision‐ground, cylindrical (straight) shanks suit standard 3‐jaw chucks on corded or cordless drills and drill presses, making the set useful in workshops and on site. A 135° cross‐ground tip helps start holes cleanly and reduces wandering. Sizes run from 1.0 mm to 10.0 mm, giving broad coverage for pilot and clearance holes. The gold‐coloured finish aids quick selection, and the robust metal storage tin keeps bits organised and protected. Suitable for steel and cast steel up to 900 N/mm2, grey cast iron, non‐ferrous metals (except aluminium), and plastics.
