The unit sits flush in the door or frame to protect hardware and reduce snag points, while providing a reliable hold-back for doors during loading, servicing and access. The body is moulded in black nylon for impact resistance, with a 304 stainless steel faceplate and internal components to withstand corrosion in outdoor and washdown conditions. The circular faceplate measures 62 mm (2.44 in) in diameter and the recess depth is 17.5 mm (0.69 in), allowing a compact installation.
