Overview:
This integral coupling security lock with keys (MPN 763 182) is designed to immobilise the coupling head on a wide range of Maypole pressed steel and cast couplings. The lock inserts into the keyhole-shaped aperture in the coupling head and, once turned, blocks the handle mechanism so the trailer cannot be hitched or unhitched. It is suitable for selected 35 mm, 50 mm and 60 mm coupling variants and for typical capacities from 1,300 kg to 3,000 kg, making it a practical solution for general trailers, plant transporters and similar towed equipment. Supplied as a bulk item without retail packaging, it comes with two keys for day-to-day use in workshops, hire fleets and site operations where quick deployment and straightforward control of trailer movements are required.
