Overview:
This bellows kit is a protective rubber gaiter for Knott-Avonride overrun brake couplings, supplied under OEM reference 577002. Made from durable, flexible black elastomer, it forms a concertina-style barrier that seals the moving joint while allowing full travel of the coupling. By keeping out dust, mud and road spray, it helps reduce wear on the brake rod, damper shaft and linkage, supporting consistent braking performance and longer service life. It is intended for use on braked trailers fitted with Knott-Avonride units, including KRV13 and KRV20, and selected KFG series couplings. The form factor is a cylindrical, accordion bellows with tapered ends designed to seat against the coupling body and rod guide. A straightforward replacement during routine servicing.
