Knott-style 250×40 bolt-on brake backplate pair (MPN 211 068) for trailers using Knott 250 mm × 40 mm (9.84 in × 1.57 in) brake drums. Supplied as two complete backplate assemblies, each unit is pre-built with Maypole brake shoes and return springs, and includes the expander, manual adjuster, eyelet and half shell, ready to mount to compatible axles. The backplate features a 58 mm (2.28 in) centre bore, four 14.5 mm (0.57 in) mounting holes and square 71 × 71 mm (2.80 in × 2.80 in) hole centres, matching the Knott bolt-on pattern used by many UK trailers.
