Overview:
The 2-Point Rod Lock, Left Hand, 2310 mm, Type A, Zinc Plated Steel (MPN 800 1066) is a sprung-action locking assembly for bodywork doors and equipment compartments on commercial vehicles and plant. Manufactured from mild steel with a zinc plated finish, it provides a durable, corrosion-resistant solution for securing doors at two points, typically top and bottom, via Ø9.5 mm (0.37 in) linkage rods. The unit delivers a 35 mm (1.38 in) throw and is operated by an 8 mm (0.31 in) square drive to suit standard handles. Overall length is 2310 mm (90.94 in). Fixing is by Ø5 mm (0.20 in) countersunk fasteners for a flush fit. Supplied with two rod guides; a matching keeper is required to complete the installation (not supplied).
