It provides a safe, positive way to earth the magneto and shut down the engine. This Genuine Wipac part, OEM No. S2142, is engineered for CJ-type magnetos commonly paired with classic JAP single-cylinder engines such as JAP 4/3 and JAP 5. Built with a sturdy metal mounting piece and an insulated contact/terminal, it copes well with vibration and heat found on stationary and mobile equipment. Its compact form factor allows neat positioning on the magneto or nearby engine fittings. Supplied as unused old stock, it may show light tarnish or storage marks but remains fully serviceable.
