Overview:
This malleable iron reducing hex nipple is a male-to-male BSP pipe fitting used to join two threaded pipes of different sizes in a straight run. It reduces from 1.1/2" (38.1 mm) to 1" (25.4 mm) and has a hexagonal body for positive spanner grip during installation and removal. Made from tough, shock-resistant malleable cast iron, it copes well with everyday site use and workshop conditions. Suitable for water and general-purpose non-corrosive fluids and air lines on construction equipment, site services, compressors, pumps, and building plumbing.
