Overview:
This Brake Shoe Axle Set for BPW Type 7 200x50mm (8in) Brake Drums (MPN 763 766) is a complete service kit for one braked axle. It replaces the original BPW Type 7 8 inch brake shoes and hardware, restoring braking performance on trailers using 200x50 backplates. The set includes four shoes to cover both hubs on an axle, together with the required retaining pins, clips and springs for correct assembly and return action. Approved to ECE R90, it is suitable as a compliant replacement for OEM shoes on BPW 200x50 systems. The 200x50mm size corresponds to approximately 7.9in diameter by 2.0in shoe width, commonly referred to as 8 inch. Designed for trade use on general purpose trailers, plant and equipment transport, and similar BPW-braked running gear.
