Door Check Strap Belting, 51mm x 1m, 4 Ply Balata, Cream (MPN 800 1074) is a flat belting strip for fabricating or replacing door check straps on commercial vehicles and equipment cabs. It is manufactured from traditional cotton canvas impregnated with Balata rubber, combining flexibility with durable reinforcement for repeated door movements. The 4 ply construction gives a nominal 5.5mm thickness for robust service in bodywork applications. Supplied as a 1 metre length (approx. 39.4 in), the belting is 51mm wide (approx. 2 in) and can be cut and drilled to suit common brackets and hinge points. Used to limit door swing and retain doors at a controlled opening, it is suitable for truck bodies, trailers, vans, generator sets and plant or machinery cabs.
