Overview:
The Lockfast Off-White High Temperature Slow Cure Threaded Metal Pipe Sealant is a PTFE-formulated paste designed to seal coarse metal threads up to M80 on plant, construction, and garden machinery. Supplied in a 50 ml size, it provides a reliable seal on threaded pipe joints and fittings while allowing time for alignment thanks to its slow-curing behaviour. Its off-white, high-viscosity paste spreads cleanly, supports a secure seal, and helps prevent leaks under vibration and thermal cycling. The sealant operates from -54°C to 200°C for dependable performance in tough environments. Mechanical properties include a breakaway torque of 2 N·m, shear strength greater than 2 N/mm2, and compressive strength of 10,000 psi (approx. 68,947 kPa / 69 MPa).
