Overview:
Opticare Red Concentrate, Anti-Freeze / Summer Coolant is a red, glycol‐based concentrate for water‐cooled engines used in cars, vans, plant, agricultural and garden machinery. Supplied in a 1‐litre bottle (MPN 802 051), it mixes with clean water to give year‐round protection against freezing, overheating and internal corrosion. When maintained correctly it protects down to -36°C and up to 169°C (equivalent to -32.8°F to 336.2°F), supporting reliable operation in cold UK winters and under heavy summer workloads. The formulation is suitable for mixed‐metal systems commonly found in aluminium and cast‐iron engines, radiators, water pumps and heater cores. The red dye aids identification during servicing and helps avoid cross‐contamination. Use for routine top‐ups or complete coolant changes across workshops, fleets and home garages.
